Tipp facing major injury worries
The Tipperary senior hurling selectors have a number of injury worries ahead of Sunday's make or break qualifier clash with Galway in Salthill.
Definitely ruled out of contention are midfielder Noel Morris and attacker Eugene O¹Neill.
Morris is suffering from a hip injury while O¹Neill picked up a calf strain and is finding it very hard to shake it off.
Meanwhile defenders Thomas Costelloe, who damaged his back in a fall on the family
farm last week, and Paul Kelly (hamstring) are both undergoing intensive treatment in a bid to be fit for the clash.
Five of Tipperary¹s senior squad will also be in action on Wednesday in the U-21 clash against Clare and Manager Michael Doyle will be hoping that they can come through unscathed.
There is better news for Tipp in that star wing-back Eamonn Corcoran will be available for selection having served his 12-week ban.
