Forde resigns as Sligo manager

Peter Forde has resigned as manager of the Sligo senior football team.

The news comes after Sligo bowed out of the Championship in yesterday's Round Two qualifier against Donegal.

Last year Forde negotiated the side through to the quarter-finals of the Championship, where they were beaten by eventual champions Armagh.
