Wexford rocked by Mallon departure

Wexford hurling has been rocked by the news that key defender Rory Mallon has emigrated to the USA for the summer.

The influential Faythe Harriers man dropped the bombshell last weekend that he was leaving on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, boss John Conran has left two vacancies in his side to face Offaly on Sunday with cruciate victim Darragh Ryan on the bench.
