The GAA has defended its sponsorship deal with Guinness following criticism of the deal yesterday by Health Minister Micheal Martin.

In a brief statement released today, GAA president Sean Kelly said he was displeased that the minister had singled out his association when every other sport also had sponsorship deals with alcohol companies.
