Down boss O'Reilly lashes Ulster council
Down hurling manager Jimmy O'Reilly has lashed out at the Ulster council for refixturing the Ulster SHC final to a Saturday evening slot.
The tie was scheduled the previous Sunday, but that slot at Casement Park is taken by the meeting of Monaghan and Down in the SFC.
O'Reilly blasted: "I am genuinely despondent. It was a smack between the eyes going into the Ulster semi-final. I was just bewildered by the decision."
