Kennelly going down under for groin op

Kerry star Noel Kennelly is nearing a full recovery after going to Australia to have his injured groin operated on.

The Listowel man missed the majority of last year and this season but returned to action as a substitute in a club game recently.

Kennelly said: "It would be great to come the full circle, from missing so much to being back in the middle of things again."
