Limerick recorded their third straight NHL victory with a convincing four point win over Laois at O'Moore Park, Portlaoise.

Limerick led 1-7 to 1-6 at half-time but completely outclassed their opponents in the third quarter.

Ollie Moran, who starred for Limerick all through, banged home his side's second goal after 39 minutes and the Munster side never looked back.

Limerick led by 2-16 to 1-10 with 12 minutes left but two late goals from Laois's Liam Tynan and a penalty from James Young put a greater degree of respectability on the scoreboard.
