Mannion off Galway squad

Veteran Galway defender Tomás Mannion is unlikely to feature for his county this year.

The Abbey-Monivea man, 33, has two All-Ireland titles under his belt but is believed to be ready to call it a day.

Mannion has combined his football career with his rugby commitments as a wing back for Monivea.
