Tipp begin minor campaign with win over Waterford

Defending champions Tipperary have beaten Waterford in the first round of this year's Munster minor hurling championship.

Waterford seemed to dominate the early stages of the game in Thurles, but Tipperary finished the better and scored three points in the last 10 minutes to win by 1-9 to 0-10.
