Waterford star McGrath escapes heavy suspension

Waterford star Ken McGrath has escaped a possible three month ban following his high profile sending off against Galway recently.

McGrath received the mandatory four week ban for a red card in the NHL tie at Pearse Stadium and not the much longer sentence for striking with the

hurl.

Meanwhile, Galway's Diarmuid Cloonan, sent off in the same game has received a similar four week ban.
