Kildare in plea for points return

The GAA's management committee will tonight consider an official appeal by Kildare against a two-point penalty.

The body convenes this evening and for Kildare it's their last hope of having two points, stripped for submitting an inadequate teamsheet before their clash with Sligo, restored.

However, it his believed that Kildare have little or no chance of getting the points back.
