Mullane hit with 12-week ban

Waterford hurling forward John Mullane has been rocked by the news that he'll miss the rest of the league campaign through suspension.

Mullane was involved in an incident during a club friendly game for De La Salle, Waterford against Mullinavat of Kilkenny and has been hit with the 12-week ban.

That's bad news for Decies boss Justin McCarthy who had watched Mullane guide the team to Munster success last summer.
