Hill 16 revamp put on long finger

GAA director general Liam Mulvihill has revealed that the cash strapped association will not be developing the Hill 16 stand in the short-term.

In his report to congress, Mulvihill states that the Government's decision to backtrack on a €38m grant to the GAA has had major implications.

Mulvihill stated: "We are now short of what we anticipated having towards Croke Park while we had also counted on getting a further €6.3m per annum for other projects."
