Intl Rules dates announced for 2003

Ireland will kick off their 2003 International Rules campaign Down Under with an opening day clash on October 24 at the Subiaco Oval, Fremantle.

The date for the second test has been set for October 31 at the MCG, Melbourne just days before Ireland also take on Australia in the Rugby World Cup.

Ireland will fancy their chances considering the travelling party generally hold the impetus with the Aussies winning in Dublin last October.
