Kildare may forfeit league points

Kildare are sweating over the prospect of being stripped two league points for the second time in 12 months.

A year ago, in the exact same fixture with Sligo, Kildare were docked points for a substitute infringement during the game, while this time it is alleged they failed to furnish a proper team sheet before the re-match.

Sligo PRO Padraig Duffy said: "The Kildare player list submitted on the day was not in order, and that's the only issue here."
