Former all-star Brian Lacey returns at corner back, with Eamann Callaghan moving to right-half in place of Padraig Mullarkey.

Aidan McHugh is recalled in place of Killian Brennan to partner Dermot Earley in midfield.

In attack there are recalls for U-21 player Karl Ennis and Ronan Sweeney in the half-forward line and for Terry Rossiter in the inside line of attack.

Manager Padraig Nolan's long-term options are also limited by the news that experienced defender Ken Doyle has opted out of the panel.
