St Malachy's named Club of the Year

St Malachy's Castlewellan has picked up the prestigious AIB Club of the Year award for 2002 at a lavish Croke Park bash ­ and a cheque for €17,000 to boot.

Back in 1981 Malachy¹s received the Club of the Year award but in the "B" category before the competition was restructured while just last September the club received an "Award of Excellence" from the county board for the best ground.
