Kildare have made several changes to their team for Sunday's National Football League opener against Cavan in Newbridge.

Despite last Sunday's O'Byrne Cup final win over Longford, goalkeeper Christy Byrne, defenders Emmet Mulhall and Ronan Quinn, midfielder Aidan McHugh and forwards Padraig Hurley and Terry Rossiter have all been dropped.
