Carey elected new President of GPA

Kilkenny hurling star DJ Carey has been elected the new president of the GPA and will take over from Clare's James O'Connor.

Carey has always been outspoken on behalf of the players' group and was seen as a natural successor to brilliant forward O'Connor.
