Dessie Sloyan out till March

Sligo's influential forward Dessie Sloyan will be out of action until March after picking up a painful knee injury.

Sloyan picked up the injury in a recent club game though he should be back mid way through the NFL.

The absence of Sloyan allied to Eamonn O'Hara's tour of duty with the AllStars in San Diego means that boss Peter Ford may blood several new players today against Roscommon in the FBD Connacht League.
