Kerry chairman Sean Walsh arrived home from South Africa yesterday fully intent on ending the rift that has cut the county in two - but it may be too late.

Walsh has arranged to meet both Paidi O Se and his trainer John O'Keeffe to find a suitable middle ground and will issue a statement by Wednesday.
