Dublin name lineup to face Wicklow

Stand in Dublin boss Dave Billings has named a strong team to face Wicklow in the O'Byrne Cup on Sunday despite being without nearly half his squad.

The Dubs left this morning for a 10 day break in South Africa leaving Billings to manage affairs in Tommy Lyons' absence.

But he's been boosted by a number of players who have stayed at home including Ciaran Whelan, Stephen Cluxton, Paddy Christie and Shane Ryan.

Meanwhile, new Kildare manager Padraig Nolan has named an interesting lineup ahead of the county's O'Byrne Cup clash with Westmeath on Sunday.

Nolan is without influential trio Anthony Rainbow and Ronan Sweeney, both injured, and Dermot Earley who is on Connacht FBD league duty with GMIT.

Into the side come Enda Noons and Andrew McLoughlin, both of Ellistown, along with Naas defender Eamonn Callaghan.
