Hurling star sacrifices holiday to get fit
Waterford hurling star Tony Browne has amazingly turned down a squad trip to Morocco to focus on getting back to peak fitness.
The Mount Sion star and former Hurler of the Year is struggling with a leg injury and has pencilled in the All-Ireland club semi-final tie with Dunloy on February 16 as his return date.
Meanwhile, county star Ken McGrath says it won't be all partying in Morocco.
"We will be bringing out hurleys with us also because we have given our coach Jim Greene a pledge that we will undertake at least 45 minutes training each day," he said.
