Rathnew stars in O'Byrne Cup lineup

Wicklow boss John O'Leary has been boosted by the inclusion of star Rathnew players Tommy Gill and Barry Mernagh in his O'Byrne Cup lineup.

Wicklow take on Carlow on Sunday in Aughrim in a repeat of last year's final, which Carlow won.

It had been feared that the duo would miss out because of their intensive Leinster club championship run. However, the Coffeys, as well as Trevor Doyle, are absent.
