Three in running for Cork job

The race to succeed Bertie Og Murphy as Cork hurling manager has been whittled to an apparent three candidates.

Ex-county stars Gerald McCarthy, Donal O'Grady and John Fenton have all been named as likely candidates.

On Friday night striking hurling and football panelists climbed off the picket line allowing the county board to focus on appointing a hurling boss which is expected by Christmas.
