Barry: Rathnew much more than one-man wonder

Dunshaughlin manager Eamon Barry last night insisted Leinster rivals Rathnew are much more than a one-man wonder show.

The Meath champs were scared stiff of Tommy Gill before they succumbed to yet another draw on Sunday - with Gill scoring just two points.

Barry said: "People may think Rathnew are a one man team but they'd be well off the mark, no team is a one man team."

Gill commented on the 1-9 to 0-12 semi-final draw: "We seem to be able to crawl back into games, we just never give up, it's about heart and sheer character."
