McGeeney gains transfer to native club

Na Fianna hero Kieran McGeeney has obtained a club transfer to his native Mullaghbawn in Armagh.

The Orchard County's All-Ireland winning hero in September has now played his last game for the former Leinster champions.

It's a crushing blow to Na Fianna who were recently thrown out of the Dublin championship for playing one too many substitutes in their quarter-final win over Rahney at Parnell Park.

Centre-back McGeeney has already picked up Ulster honours with Mullaghbawn.
