GAA refusing to move on Croke Park issue
The GAA is refusing to move on the issue of Croke Park opening its doors to soccer.
The association issued a statement today responding to the Taoiseach's calls for Croke Park to be opened to soccer in the event of Ireland's joint bid to host the Euro 2008 Championships being successful, saying such a decision can only be taken at it's Annual General Congress.
The GAA's decision on the matter is regarded as crucial to Ireland's joint bid with Scotland to hosts the finals in six years time.
