UCD skipper to give 100%

UCD skipper Brendan O hAnnaidh will give 100% against Rathnew on Sunday in the Leinster SHC quarter-final - even though he'll be going up against his own county-men.

The Wicklow half-back will face the likes of Tommy Gill, Trevor Doyle and the Mernaghs, all county colleagues under John O'Leary.

But O hAnnaidh insisted: "Over the last six years with Wicklow, I've probably played with eight or nine of the Rathnew lads, and I would have come up against them and other members of the Rathnew team in underage competition in Wicklow. It's not such a big deal."
