Dunshaughlin boss would relish Rathnew challenge

Dunshaughlin boss Eamonn Barry has admitted there's a "natural desire" to be rooting for another Leinster SFC match-up with old rivals Rathnew.

Dunshaughlin beat Rathvilly of Carlow yesterday and if Rathnew beat UCD next weekend the sides will meet for the sixth time in three years.

Dunshaughlin have never won and Barry said: "Obviously there'd be a bit of sentiment there alright.

"It would be good to finally beat them but we'll take whoever we're given.

"Whoever wins next weekend between Rathnew and UCD will present a massive challenge to us. At this stage it's out of our hands."
