The Chairman of the Mid Tipperary GAA Board Michael Burke has thrown his hat into the ring for the County Chair position which will be vacated by its present incumbent Con Hogan in December.

The Upperchurch-Drombane man has been Chairman of the Mid Board for the past three years and is a very highly regarded official in the county.
