A Brian McDonald inspired UCD thumped St Vincent's in the Dublin SFC final at Parnell Park today.

Laois star McDonald was a revelation hitting 0-4 for the game to see off former Dublin hero's Vincent's.

UCD boss Dave Billings used to play for Vincent's but put sentiment aside to urge on his side to victory.

Tyrone star Cormac McAnallen was a rock in the middle as was Ciaran McManus up front who grabbed a point himself.

Dublin U-21 star Mossie Quinn hit 1-4 of his side's paltry total.

Elsewhere, Eastern Harps of Sligo were shocked by Roscommon champions Strokestown in the Connacht SFC semi-final today.

Strokestown advance to the final following a narrow 0-8 to 0-7 win.
