GPA slams Leinster council
The Gaelic Players Association has hit out at the Leinster Council following some high profile controversial decisions this week.
Firstly, Leinster chiefs turned down the Dublin county board's plea to have their provincial tie with Rathnew put back by a week because it comes a day after their county final, this Sunday.
That was turned down as was the county's request for funding for the senior team's holiday squads.
The GPA lashed: "It appears these decisions have been made with scant regard for the physical and psychological well-being of the players involved."
