Dublin SFC champs to play two ties in two days

Leinster Council chiefs have told the Dublin SFC champions they must play two hectic ties in 48 hours this weekend.

Because of the protracted Na Fianna High Court case the capital campaign has dragged on and the final will only be played this Saturday, a day before the winners meet Rathnew in the Leinster SFC.

But provincial officials were unsympathetic and agreed the fixtures must stand.

UCD play St Vincent's in the final at Parnell Park at 2.00pm on Saturday with the winners facing Rathnew in Aughrim the following day at 2.30pm.
