Harte bracing himself for Sunday test

Mickey Harte is bracing himself for the fact that Sunday afternoon could spell his last stand as Errigal Ciaran boss.

The highly rated manager has pledged to quit his club commitments if he gets the vacant Tyrone manager's job.

Errigal play Crossmaglen Rangers in their Ulster SFC quarter-final replay on Sunday and Harte realises it could be his last game as manager.

He said: "If the Tyrone job comes my way this will have to be my last season with Errigal. It's a pity but a fact of life at the same time.

"I think I'll be able to balance the two for a few months if Errigal progress beyond today, but I couldn't commit to another season."
