Five candidates have been short-listed for the vacant Tyrone football manager's position.

Five candidates have been short-listed for the vacant Tyrone manager's position.

Eugene McKenna has put his name forward as expected, but the former joint-manager faces some stiff contest.

Brian McIver, an All-Ireland winning manager with Ballinderry last year, along with former Tyrone U21 boss Mickey Harte have all put forward their names.

Two unknown names have also been put forward for the position which is expected to be filled by the end of November.
