Conran tipped for Wexford manager position

John Conran is expected to be recommended for the position as Wexford senior hurling manager when the County Board meets tonight.

A special committee, set-up to find a replacement for Tony Dempsey, will make the recommendation but the meeting is likely to centre on the exclusion of successful Under-21 boss Seamus Murphy from the selection process.
