UCD cleared to play semi
UCD have been cleared to play in Saturday's Dublin SFC semi-final following the county board's dismissal of Kilmacud Crokes' appeal against them.
UCD were alleged to have fielded an ineligible player in Galway star John Divilly in their quarter-final win last weekend but that charge was unanimously thrown out.
The Students are now set to face Raheny at Parnell Park though the game could be postponed as Na Fianna have decided to appeal after being expelled from the Dublin football championship for fielding 21 players in their county quarter-final win over Raheny.
The decision to appeal was taken at a club committee meeting last night.
Lucan Sarsfields play St Vincent's in the other semi-final on Saturday.
