DJ closer to Spillane record

Kilkenny star DJ Carey took a step closer to equalling Pat Spillane's record of nine All-Stars after being short-listed for this year's hurling Team of the Year.

Carey is one of 11 Cats short-listed after their successful All-Ireland campaign beating Clare in the final.
