Na Fianna expelled from club championship
The Na Fianna GAA club is reportedly considering an appeal after being expelled from the club championship for fielding six substitutes in the Dublin county quarter-final against Raheny.
The reigning champions had booked a place in the last four after beating Raheny two weeks ago, but they were subsequently found to have fielded 21 players.
The Games Administration Committee decided last night that the Glasnevin club should be expelled from the championship, with Raheny now going on to play UCD in the semi-final next Saturday.
Na Fianna have three days to lodge an appeal with the Leinster Council.
