Dublin county board chairman's comments

Dublin county board chairman John Bailey is advocating a radical shake up of the capital's GAA infrastructure.

It was revealed recently that the controversial SRC proposal to split Dublin is now off the agenda of this weekend's Special Congress sitting.

That's a big win for Bailey yet he revealed he's not against constructive change saying: "Basically we are looking for improvements in coaching, capital investment, new administrative structures and a ground on the southside of the City.

"Negotiations on the whole plan are ongoing."
