Club games postponed for Rules clash
Graham Geraghty will play for Ireland on Sunday after the Meath County board agreed to postpone the SFC club tie between Seneschalstown and Dunshaughlin.
Geraghty's Seneschalstown play holders Dunshaughlin in the county semi-final which was due to go ahead at midday.
But following a plea from Geraghty and Irish boss John O'Keeffe a number of games have been rescheduled, freeing Ireland's top players to face Australia.
In Dublin, Na Fianna (Kieran McGeeney) v Raheny and Kilmacud Crokes (Ray Cosgrove) v UCD (Cormac McAnallen & Ciaran McManus) has been put back to the following weekend along with Mountbellew-Moylough's (Joe Bergin) Galway SFC clash with Annaghdown.
