McGeeney and Larkin win monthly awards

Armagh footballer Kieran McGeeney and Kilkenny hurler Philip Larkin have been named as Player of the Month for September in their respective codes.

McGeeney captained Armagh to All-Ireland victory over Kerry last month, while Larkin played a pivotal role in Kilkenny’s win over Clare in the hurling final.
