O'Mahony reveals two-pronged approach

Galway manager John O'Mahony has admitted he approached this year's U21 football championship with a two pronged attack.

O'Mahony will name his side to face Dublin in Sunday's All-Ireland final at O'Moore Park tomorrow night and said: "Obviously I wanted to help the U-21s to pick up some silverware like any other manager would.

"But as the senior manager I was also wary of charting the progress of younger players who may come through to the senior team. Like Dublin, we have a lot of quality players."
