Blackhall Gaels thrown lifeline

Blackhall Gaels have been thrown a championship lifeline by the Meath county board after it was agreed to let the club back into the competition.

Gaels were thrown out for fielding an ineligible player, Anthony Moyles, in their quarter-final win over holders Dunshaughlin.

Last Sunday's semi-final between Dunshaughlin and Seneschalstown was postponed with the appeal pending.

Now it seems Dunshaughlin and Gaels will do it all again - although the champions have yet to agree to the replay.
