Legal action stops Meath semi-final
Sunday's Meath SFC semi-final between holders Dunshaughlin and Seneschalstown has been called off because of the threat of legal action.
Blackhall Gaels were expected to seek an injunction to stop the game from going ahead because they were dismissed from the championship after fielding an ineligible player.
Gaels actually beat Dunshaughlin but played the suspended Anthony Moyles, sent off by accident, in a previous game against Ballinlough.
Their case was thrown out by the Leinster Council on Wednesday.
