Cashman pays tribute to Bertie Og

Former Cork hurling manager Tom Cashman has expressed his disappointment at Bertie Og Murphy's departure.

Murphy called it a day after just a year in charge on Wednesday night ­ just like Cashman did last year after just months in the position.

Cashman said: "I'm sad to see him go. He can¹t be blamed for the defeats. There's a very thin dividing line between success and failure in senior hurling, especially in Munster where any team has a realistic chance of winning the provincial title."
