Armagh preparations begin to bring Sam home
The county of Armagh is a sea of orange this evening as GAA fans celebrate their win in Croke Park.
Armagh beat Kerry by 1-12 to 0-14.
It is expected that the county will celebrate for days to come as the Sam Maguire heads across the border.
In addition, Derry will also be celebrating their win in the minors.
Most towns and villages in Armagh were nearly empty as supporters had flocked to Dublin in their droves, celebrations still went on.
In Portadown, fireworks exploded on the Garvaghy road as the final whistle blew.
Ulster Unionist assemblyman David Kennedy said that it was a remarkable sporting achievement and sent his congratulations to the winning team.
