Sars re-instated to Kildare SFC

Kildare senior football champions Sarsfields have been allowed back into the county championship after being thrown out during the week.

Sarsfields, involved up until the latter stages of the Leinster championship last December, were dismissed for fielding an ineligible player against Round Towers.

The matter club, home to Kildare ace Dermot Earley, appealed the decision to the management committee last night and were re-instated.
