The distraught Clare hurling panel flew into Shannon Airport this evening following yesterday's All-Ireland final defeat to Kilkenny.

Twice champions in the 1990s, the Banner were soundly beaten by seven points at Croke Park and returned to the Wolfe Tones club in Shannon for a reception.
